The correlation

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act prevents discrimination based on sex, religion, or race. However, it does not specifically state anything about accommodations directly related to pregnancy, or other related conditions.
The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act fills in that gap by stating employees with a pregnancy or any other related medical condition are entitled to reasonable accommodations.
The PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act fills in gaps regarding lactation in the workplace, including employers providing a covered and private area for mothers to lactate and adequate breaks to pump.
Therefore, “The Big Three” acts as a “superpower” against discrimination in the workplace for women experiencing pregnancy or anything related.
